I'd just fix it too. Nothing difficult to fix out of that lot. All possible DIY too. Rear axle slightly more difficult but not entirely out of the question.

If I take it to garage they won't fit 2nd hand stuff, therefore I don't no any personal who can fit in 2nd hand stuff, i live in surrey anyone would suggest anything?

I've seen VOSA walk in to a garage & retest a car just after the garage mot tested it, they do go through them with a fine tooth comb.

Sooner or later dodgy mot places / testers get caught & dealt with as VOSA do random checks on mot places / testers Wink

I knew a mot tester fail his own car on a old fiesta mk4 as the hazzard warning button was loose and kept falling off, i dont agree with how tight some of them are but rules are rules

i took my the top of my hazard warning button of my mk4 fiesta and kept it in the glove box as it gets in the way of the oil warning light (used to drink oil for fun) never failed an mot on that, just everything else lol
