As the title says I've got a terrible click/clonking noise from the engine Bay Area. I've replaced the drop links, track rod ends and bottom arm but its still there.
It only happens on acceleration or braking and especially when setting off from lights.
Any help would be great as its driving me nuts!
Cheers in advance.

If the engines rocking back a forth then it could be hitting the stops....presuming its a 180?

It's just a 1.6 hdi.
I've had a look at the top mount and it seems fine.

Gearbox mount/lower engine mount would be my guess. Maybe gearbox if it does it when setting off as you are putting it under movement when engaging the clutch to the engine
