My indicator is a little bit loose, so when indicating left it sometimes doesn't come on unill I wiggle it forward to make the electrical connection.
How easy is it to get my hands on a new comms unit and replace it myself? My car is a 2003 look 1.1, so im sure there is no ESP on it.
also, i really don't want the air bag taking my head off!
cheers

The indicator arms can be swapped over individually.
I'm sure you can do it with out removing the steering wheel too
Either way, it's an easy job. Just a few screws and a clip for the plug.

What use is this information for a MULTIPLEXED 206
As for diy replacement of a com, that depends on you skill level with tools.
For me its a p**s easy job i've done several times over the years, for others on here it wont be easy.

No they can't, it's a complete unit.

Righty tighty, lefty loosey.
But yes I have some skill with tools, I know the battery has to be disconnected, but what about the air bag...how do I stop this from taking my face off?
Yes it is multiplexed, round indicator stalks. Has anyone got any experience on getting these things from a scarp yard?

What's the book time, 20 minutes including disconnecting the battery and taking it for a test drive

Think it can be done in 12 including getting the car in the workshop.
