Aloha everybody!
First up a big thanks to everybody who has suggested soloutions to the common problem of 'Unblock Diesel Filter'.
I have a 2004 Pug 206 1.6 GTI HDI. Sometime ago I got that dreaded message but choose to ignore it until recently. I've done a lot of research on previous forums regarding the subject and conclude I need to replace the following
Fuel cap sensor, glow plugs and possibly top up Eolys fluid.
Can somebody tell me where to buy or post a link to buy the fuel cap sensor? Can't seem to find anything on internet and no doubt Peugeot will charge a fortune for it, unless somebody has bought one recently??
Once I've got it, I'm planning to changing it myself. Will post instructions if required.
I live outside Dundee, so if anybody needs help on a 206, then give me a shout. I'm not too bad at DIY mechanics and willing to help a fellow comrade.
Cheers
Mike

even you replace all of the above stuff;
you need peugeot planet to reset the counter.
and more likely; you will need that to force the regen or physically unblock it.
kind of pointless to do the stuff unless you want to keep the car for another few years

You can only buy the sensor and loom from Peugeot.
