Hi
I have a 206 XSI 52 plate and it has developed this awful squealing noise from the passengers footwell. It started as a wooshing air noise and has now developed into a full on squeal (similar to a fan belt slip!).
It is quite intermitent and will temporarily stop when I use my brakes, but starts back up again as soon as I take my foot off the brake pedal.
Any ideas??

Get a tested second hand one, not a big job to change, if it's a half decent mechanic shouldn't charge any more than an hours labour.
