Replaced the drivers seat from a 180 model with the same seat but RC, (shows RC badge on the seat) and the problem is the seatbelt connector plug won't go in. The plug design is only slightly different, is it ok to cut the wires and connect together?

Look on Service box at the plugs and connectors. Might be able to get the correct plug and terminal.
