Hello All,
I have this problem happen today, this morning,we had a cold weather, and I tried to start the car after not using it for few days, but it didn't start,I tried to start it 3 times, and each time the engine starts a half start and then turn off, while the needles of the cluster flickering.
So after checking the problem was almost a dead battery :(,but that costed me a faulty Temp. gauge and brand new battery,sp here is a few pics of the faulty gauge,so I hope you can help me to fix it,because I'm thinking of taking the speedo off,and adjust the needle to it's original location, because of having such a faulty gauge can cause me problems,if the car temp. got too high,I can't know that ,because it will be showing 70 all the time
Thanx

So the gauge just keeps flikering up and down ever so slightly?
It is either the speedo cluster at fault but just check the system for other faults as an ABS ECU failure caused one (supposedly)

It just flikered when I tried to start the car,and it didn't start, then what you se e in the pic happen,so it moves fine when the temp. goes up,but the mark for me now is 70oC instead of 90oC
I have pp2000,and I tested the the temp. gauge, and it's says "Cycle Complete" which mean nothing faulty with the gauge but it's location,so i will try to reset it manually

I am pretty certain. I am on 115 or something. Its only the screen I need so it doesn't matter anyway. The rubber/ribbon on mine broke off.
