Ive got the inevitable problem of rear demister contacts being broke, lucky for me its only the very bottom half of the screen so therefore not really affecting my vision if fogged up... But im abit OCD and im not keen on the visable orange lines where the contact has been broken..

seems the best option is to replace the rear screen to get it back to factory standard.. but i thought what if i had the glass professionally tinted 30%?
Would the black from the film cover the orange lines and not be visable or would orange still be visable??

Sorry for the petty question but i got nothing else wrong with the car so drink to that haha

Just have to live with the orange every car has them.

As for tints may block them from a distance but most likely still see them up close

Mines all orange, tinting makes them less obvious from the rear view mirror.

If you really have major ocd and the time and inclination you could repair the gaps with the tape then paint over the lines with fine black paint.
