I fitted a new stereo and to make the stereo come on with the ignition I cut the ignition wire and linked it into the power. Big mistake Sad I think the wiring diagram I had was probably wrong as although it worked as I intended I blew my ESP.

I have checked the fuses and they all seem fine however I don't have the manual to see which fuse it what. What do you think I have done as it just says not functioning all the time Sad

Car is a gti 180 btw

Thanks

Look in the forum FAQ as the fuse lists are posted in there.

Have you disconnected the radio and put everything back as original?

Thanks for the reply I've just been out in the snow to look again and I've fixed it Smile Fuse no 6 had originally blown which I replaced but as it was still wired wrong i'm guessing its blown it again as was blown. The wiring has been fixed recently so put in a new fuse and its fine now Smile

Thanks
