Ok so my brother took my old 206 for MOT today and failed on headlight ( needs new one ) anti roll bar link ( easy fix ) and wheels rubbing on plastic inside on full lock witch i know isnt anything major so assume the guys is trying to get some money from me as he said it will need investigating
So if he sticks some spacers ( 5mm ones ) on and it clears the plastic will it pass on the re-test? or will the guy just be a nob and fail it?
any help is apreciated

As long as it clears and doesn't protrude the arches and stick out too far should be ok, just make sure it doesn't catch anything else,on full lock either way, brake pipes/abs wires, plus what's wrong with the headlight? If brackets are broken this can be plastic welded back on (providing you still have all brackets), and i got a pair of drop links with nuts for £10 delivered off ebay,

Just standard wheels and tyres nothing special and no alloys but i had a look and looks like plastic is a bit loose on the inside but hasnt rubbed bad enough to melt or strip the plastic just looks like its rubbing dirt off

I allready fitted one drop link last week and was gonna fit the other but didnt get chance.
The headlight has something snapped off that holds them in place think its were the bolt goes in as a woman cut him up and rubbed the front drivers side of his car pushing the headlight up a little snapping the plastic so will go scrappers and get one tomorrow.
As said it just looks like the guy is trying to make a few ££ as its not rubbed bad just rubbing dirt off rather than rubbing plastic away.
the rubbing is front of each wheel inside on full lock so left lock the right wheel would rub and vise versa

If the bolt is still securing the broken bracket of the headlamp take the headlamp out and get a soldering iron and melt the plastic to resecure the bracket onto the headlamp, no need for headlamp, and just make sure all retaining push rivets are securing the dirt shield

If it is rubbing because the liner is loose then re-fix the liner.
Fitting spaces will only put extra stress on your other suspension components and that loose liner won't get any tighter will it.

Its completley broken the bolt is still there but snapped before it so there's no hole to sit in.

it wont go back as normal have already tried and the spacers are only going on for the MOT once its back at his house he will take em off again.
As said i think the guy is pulling one as they dont even look bad i bet if i wiped the plastic with a cloth you wouldnt know there had been rubbing thats how little there rubbing
