So after long last Dan (DSWR) has convinced me to start a build log for my car, because of the insurance I am keeping the performance mods to a minimum as my first years quote is £2100 for a 1.4 8V!
I know! Ludicrous!

Here he is on the day I got him from the dealer, looking rather clean I might add!

One of the first things I did to him was swap out the Clarion CD player for my Alpine Headunit. (No picture sorry)

I left the car is it was for about a week before I got sick and tired of having to put my iPhone in the ash tray and went to Halfrauds and got a spare Cigarette lighter and installed it behind the pop off panel near the right hand side door. I then ran the iPhone cable up to my iPhone holder and grabbed power and ground from the factory cigarette lighter.

Things stayed fairly quite for a week or so because of the awful weather we have in the UK, with a break in the awful weather I took my chance to install my Alpine Type R and my JBL GTO 7001 amplifier. The hardest part was changing the factory + battery terminal, broke two scissors in the process!

After that the car was pretty much untouched until I did my volt meter.
Installing the volt meter was a 3 minute job, grabbed Constant, switched and ground from the radio loom and passed it down to the ash tray by removing the little light (Mine didnt always work anyway) and used some connection blocks to connect the volt meter to it, so now when I turn the key to ACC it turns on and if I dont want to see the meter I just close the ash tray lid.
Heres a picture:

The coil pack then went and was replaced by Peugeot for free, they even valeted my car! (The Joys of having a Warrenty!)

Thats all I am going to put in this first post. Ill update this thread tomorrow when I can think of what else I have already done to the car.
