I have seemed to have caused a problem with the car today.

I accidently shorted out two cable behind the dash at the time I heard a 'click' coming from the compartment under the steering wheel.

I have checked ALL the fuses under the bonnet and under the steering wheel and thy're all fine

I attempted to start the car, the car now struggles to start and wont fire up.

I dont have any power to the headlights, radio and central locking.

The interior lights work aswell as the dials and the MFD displays 'Engine Immobiliser Fault'

Can anyone please shed some light on what has happened, im terrified that I have cooked the BSI.

Any suggestions woulf be really helpfull.

Thank You

After this blind panic I rechecked the fuses under the wheel and this time, found the fuse which made the contents of my digestive system drop out of my ass.

Turned out to be a 20A fuse..

Note to self: 'Check your fuses before loosing your mind'
