There's no reason for the chassis leg to be bent. All the impact was higher up than that. The headlamp housing needs a new one welding in and the inner wing could need slight straightening. It's not had that big an impact.

Did anyone look UNDER the megane, looking at the damage on yours i'd be surprised if it only had superficial damage to the bumper.
Hope your back on the road soon, lesson learnt, keep eyes on the road at all times when in motion

Like i said the pictures make it look much more worse than it actually is, i don't think there is any damage to the chassis, its more upper body as mentioned by others. I am having it looked over by a garage and having them estimate the repairs from their diagnosis, if its not too bad, i can do most of it my self. The rest ill ask the garage to sort. I think i may have got away more lucky then i thought with this one.

I'm saying that whilst there is no damage to speak given the impact was at the top part, the fact remains all the front has pushed everything back into the bay and I would be surprised if this hasn't caused lateral movement of the leg. The engine being on mounts, the mounts being on the legs.... Thats why I said it would need pulling.
I might be wrong, and I hope I am for the sake of this dudes wallet, but it takes naff all for those legs to move a little one way or t'other....

Just a bottle of T-Cut needed then. Jobs a good'un.
Meanwhile back in he real world, I don't know if it's the angle of the picture but the engine looks lob sided, hence the reason I said possible jigging.
Glad you're getting an estimate from a garage before you start committing yourself to the repair.

Had Garage look over my car, they gave me a huge quote for parts and labour. But so far i have spent £116 on parts. These include Front bumper, Left wing, Radiator, Air filter, Electric fan, bonnet and new light housing. All of which i can fit my self except the light housing will need welding into place.

When they quoted did they do any proper poking around to check the areas that our armchair mechanics diagnosed as needing rejigging, bent legs etc?
Good on you for not rising to the comments about the mistake. It was just that, and good on you for having a go at fixing it yourself. The reason why I ask about them having a poke around is to make sure it's structurally sound and it's worth DIY fixing. If it isn't alright underneath and you sort the cosmetics, the underlying problems could cause future problems for you.

I dont think they had a major look, but you can see now that i have removed the radiator, fan and bumper you can see there is no structural damage other than the light housing which will need welding back in place. I must admit i got away very lucky with this accident it has hit in a very specific place.

So my car should be fixed and road worthy again by tomorrow. I have so far spent £16 of my own money repairing it the rest of it (£100) was given to me by my dad because he felt sorry for me ha! I have somewhat improved my car in a way too, I now have a induction kit, coloured bumpers, coloured sides trips, a bonnet with no paint chips or rust, a bumper with fogs on and tinted windows. I have also learnt a few things on dismantling a 206. But most importantly I've learnt my lesson to drive more carefully!!
