Had my 51 plate 1.1 for a year now and for the past 6 months I've had the engine light come on. It goes off when you turn the engine off and on but comes back on after a few miles. Had the injectors changed and new coils but it's still coming on! Any ideas what the problem might be??

What fault code has come up when you plugged a code reader in?

P0202. Number 2 injector but i know it isn't that because it has been replaced twice now.

You do know number 1 injector is at the GEARBOX end of the engine on a Peugeot / Citroen?

All the garages that I've had it in have said its the number 2 injector but look at me with a confused look on their face when i tell them its already been replaced twice. Just want to know if anybody has got any suggestions

Has the correct injector actually been replaced?
Cylinder number 2 would be the 3rd cylinder from the left when standing at the front of the car looking towards the engine.
Has anybody checked the wiring harness circuit for injector 2 isn't faulty?

The correct injector has been replaced but i don't thing the wiring too it has. Do you reckon that is what the real fault is?

Swap injector two with four, see if the fault swaps.

Did they replace with the right coilpack too?
And definately replaced injector 2 and not 3?
Harness / connector could be causing it, as said above.

If its non plexed you could always just take the bulb out the cluster
