Hi there I am new to the forums and I need assistance

I looked for topics like this but none came up on my search

The problem is that I have recently installed new after market headlights for my
2003 1.6 16v quicksilver but after instillation all the lights work bar from
the left dip beam....

I have tried using different bulbs(H7only fit) and know that it is not
the lighting unit as it works on the other side.

How ever engine fuse box fuses F9 & F10 only one of them
Is receiving power as when I remove 10 right dip goes off.

Replacing F9 does nothing there for is it the relay??

Or am I missing something completely easy to fix

Old lights are out of the question previous owner did an awful job of fitting, I believe he knew
of this problem and bridged power from the right hand side hence there was a wire running
across the bonnet, but I want to resolve this problem

So you only told us half the problem?

Sounds like your wiring is at fault then, do as ian said and trace all the wires.
