Whatever you put in there will vanish on a voyage behind the dash never to be seen again
All you will find behind the covers is the bolts & metal brace that attaches the dash to the body shell |
On my never-ending journey of re-tightening bolts on my 206, I can honestly say I missed those.
There's a tiny resonance around there too..
Many thanks to the OP for bringing this up. |
Haha no problem!

Back on comp now so I can post the pics
You can just see a bit of the off side one here

and this is the near side

Wouldn't mind knowing what the big bolt/latch thing is for in the middle though. Could it be something to do with what the robot held onto to place it in the car?

Although Macca has already posted a few pictures I'm gonna upload some that I took yesterday that show whats under the cover a little more. This is only the drivers side.
This is the cover I mean, removed in the picture -

A bit closer -

Under the cover, as you can see I have the fusebox open and it just drops straight through to the fusebox door -

I tightened those up on both cars a couple of days ago..
The boss's one was OK-ish but mine were very loose.
Resonance still there behind the dash area (in colder weather) which is extremely annoying.
Every time I drive her car and this happens I start pulling out panels and banging on various parts in the hope of pin-pointing it. I'm sure I look like a total lunatic to other drivers and it's actually dangerous..
So, we have a very dangerous rattle still.
