I'm looking into getting some coil overs for my 180 but not to sure exactly what ones to get so any info you can give me would be very much appreciated Smile

I don't wanna spend over the hill prices either lol but I know I get what I pay for

iv got ap coilovers on my 180 and really happy with them they were just under £400

I really like mine too, glad i went for them tbh, when i bought mine i didnt know of anyone with them so was a bit a chance!

Cheers lads...do you have any idea what Gaz or V-Maxx systems are?

Also I'm absolutely useless when comes mechanics,would I need change anything else when using coiloversv

Why do you want coilovers?
2001 GTi 138, Bilstein Sprint dampers, H&R springs, 21mm Peugeot Sport torsion bars, 22mm rear ARB, Peugeot Sport Group A wishbones, 283mm discs, Goodridge stainless hoses, Maniflow 304 grade 4-2-1 2.5" manifold and system, 200 cell cat, Richard Longman head, 45mm Jenvey throttle bodies, 9.5mm TB spacers, 90mm air horns, Jenvey throttle linkage, Jenvey fuel rail, Aeromotive and Goodridge fuel fittings and braided hose, ITG sausage filter, Radtec custom radiator, Piper Ultimate Road cams, Piper vernier pulleys, Omex 600 ECU. Saxo electric PAS pump, Vibra Technics engine mounts. Samco coolant hoses, TTV steel flywheel, 4.76 final drive ratio, 307 CC 180 ratios. 2019 BMW 530i. 2017 Mercedes C300 convertible.

Both Gaz and Vmaxx are well known, Gaz would be the better option tbh, VMaxx tend to be cheaper and not as good quality.
You would need to swap your top mounts over to the coilovers off your original struts. Personally i'd take that opportunity to fit new ones, and drop links also as its all coming undone to fit coilovers. But you dont have to.
