ive checked battery and connections now today i lost everything electrical also once the engine cut out, drove home tonight and keep loosing everything electrical lights heaters dash? please help?

There's an earth connection usually between the battery and the gearbox/engine, and it's quite common for this to break because they're made only just big enough, and would cause the symptoms you have.

i will be checking earths but ive spoke to someone that had the same problem as me and they said its the ecu above the steering column com 2000 unit
