update - spent some time on the missus car today and found the problem started the car I could hear water gurgling somewhere near the air box so I took out the air filter and it was soaking wet I then removed the complete air box to find the ducting had come apart and the bottom section had about 2" of water lying in there .
So I stripped it apart drained out all the water and put it all back together.
I reset the error code p0350 started the car went for a drive and its running perfect again.
I assume now that water got into the cylinders and messed with the plugs and coil .
She has been out in the car this afternoon and everything is fine .
