My partners 206 1.4 (52) plate,is coming up for its first set of wishbones since new,,they have needed doing for a while,,as we can see back then they last a long time originals, but we want to sell the car in the next 18months,and originals are over £200 for the pair.

So which wishbones would anyone recommend aftermarket? they start cheap right up to expensive.,she only does low miliage, cars only got 32k on it.

so far from the car shops im getting these makes

Qhazel -motorist discount
VTECH -german/sweedish
TRW -german/sweedish
FEBI BILSTIEN
LEMFORDER
BORK

the last 3 are internet ones

advice would be really appreciated.

I'd go for Febi Bilstein, then Lemforder.

One type will have a metal inner bush, that's for the GTi and hdi models.

Ring mister-autos in UK and ask them ... I've found them useful and willing to help.

Or ring you local Peugeot dealer and they will check ... ask them for the part nos, give some excuse about checking costs with partner and it will be easier to order with those, and then cross-make these to the febi parts ...

But there is only one arm for the 1.4 ... there isn't a GTI version ... so I don't think it matters ...

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

Thanks for the replys, will be ringing them in the morning, will ring peugeot first to get the part number and double check before I order, but I think we are going for the febi,,kind of in the middle for pricing..cheers for the help Smile

Darn it,,rang mister-auto nd they did indeed say we needed the parts number,,,So we have rang 3 peageot dealers and tried different tactics and we cannot get the part number from them,,they refuse point blank to supply it.

Peageot say its a different ball joint?
