It's self-cleansing and in the fuel tank. It doesn't need replacing.

thank you mates
so it self-cleansing? wow, don't know how it really works . It's 146.000 km. for my gti 180 and I thought it should be replaced. So I shouldn't worry about that, sure

Is it not dependant on year?
Have a look on servicebox using your VIN and it should help identify the position.

Im pretty sure all 180's are in tank but using servicebox is a good idea

Located in the tank, not a serviceable item. Earlier 206's had two filters, one in tank and one out of the tank
