You'll also need the airbag ecu as well.

hey guys I still haven’t got the info I need lol,can any one confirm my list please or send me a list of what’s needed also if there is any guides or members project threads of fitting a gti lump in a 1.4 or similar can you please post me the links thanks.
also id like to thank all the members that have give me some info as ive notice there’s not many members on this site that’s willing to help or give info...
after speaking with a mate of mine he’s suggested instead of swapping bsi an dash loom it would be easier to just use engine with engine loom an a free running ecu can any shed more light on using free running ecu`s an where to get them unlocked many thanks guy`s

Free running? Does it walk too?

Serious note what the f*** is your mate talking about?

For most people, it will be easier to swap:

Engine
Gearbox
Engine ecu
Bsi
Abs ecu (pump if different too)
Engine fuseboard (bm34)
Complete vehicle and engine loom
Subframe
Hubs
Driveshafts
Rear axle (might aswell for the larger torsion bars/arb)
Exhaust system

there's your answer so go get busy
