Just wondering if anyone knows what size spacers can safely be used with standard length factory flat head bolts and 307 challenger alloys?

Im guessing 12mm is pushing it way too much with standard length bolts?

For the rears I will be using 20-25mm hopefully as long as they will fit, with the type of spacers that bolt to the hub, then the wheels bolt to te new spacers, but for the fronts I don't want to go anywhere near as wide so was trying to get away with some hubcentric spacers, Ideally I would like the push the front alloys out at least 9mm to make them out as far as vortex alloys would be.

I'm only using 5mm and thought it was a bit iffy, 7mm max I'd say.
