Hi. Many thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this. Cheers
FAULT - I have a 206 1.4hdi sw 2005. The airbag light has been on for a few months now and occasionally engine stalls when I pull away from cold, might be my driving style, but no problems. Couple of days ago the engine cut out whilst driving. Tracked fault to fuse no.8 20Amp on (what I think is called BSI board. Next to battery in engine bay?) Replaced, drove 15 miles, blew again. Blew next replacement straight away. Wiggled the wire loom at back of engine and the next fuse has lasted 30 miles to drive home. I am now too frightened to drive the car as it is dangerous with engine just stopping.
QUESTION - Is this likely to be a corroded wire in the loom behind the engine or a fault with one of the units that fuse serves? (fan assembly relay, ecu, injector pump, diesel high pressure regulator, engine management solenoid valve)
Cheers

The engine bay fuse box is next to the battery, the BSI fusebox is inside the car near the drivers knee
F8......20A........Fan assembly relay, engine control unit, Diesel injection pump Diesel High pressure regulator, engine mangement solenoid.

The 2 fan relays next to the radiator in a plastic housing, are quite a common problem and the wires tend to corrode.
Might be worth checking the wiring there.
