is there any tips or anything that i can to do other than repainting the full strip or going paintshop?

How deep is it? Try some m3 cutting paste if not too deep. If it's into the paint or plastic a body shop may be needed.

try the above also maybe a touch up pen never used them myself but worth a shot

I fear the bodyshop may be the only option after that feel for you bud
