Okay so long story short, my local dealership arent too brilliant and i had tried to order new bearings, seals, and torx bolts for my torsion bars, they are sending me the two inner bearings apparantly but everything else is on back order from france.
Now, i want to do these sharpish but they cant give me a date so it could be monday, could be a months time
What im after is somebody who can tell me the definite bearing size i need for my 180 so i can order the parts from IM axle instead.
Are gti/gti 180 trailing arm bearings the same?
Thanks, Dan.

+1 to what Edward said - unless you have inspected them and the pins are perfect there is just no point
There is only one size for a 206. Just tell IM axles you want some 206 ones they have loads in stock.

The axle isnt worn there's no play or anything, im replacing the bearings because they are 10 years old. Its good practice to replace needle roller bearings when you take them apart, especially if they have been in for some time.
I asked because i knew of two sizes, turns out some early gti's & cc's had different sizes, which i only found out today.
Clearly nobody knew the answer i was looking for, i realise you are only trying to help/give advice etc but i just needed a simple answer asap.
I've already spoken with IM axles today, they also considered it a good idea and are sending the bearings to me. I just thought i'd ask here first but to be honest forums are heading downhill in terms of knowledge available i think.

I thought the others that commented were just trying to help as others have replaced bearings and they have failed soon after as the pins were worn. This happened to me. There's no need to ask a question again as no one is going to answer you with a attitude like that

Ive replaced bearings before on different axles, i know what to look for in terms of wear etc and was just looking for a straightforward answer to a simple question, just never seem to be able to get one these days on forums. Perhaps it seems like im coming across with more of an attitude than i meant it to, ive worded it a bit better now. Thanks for your input.
