Thanks for the add to the group...first post on here. Not long had our 206 and just found a bad leak, turns out its the steering rack, a common problem according to our little garage, quoted around the £350 mark for them to replace.....does this sound about right and in the meantime has anyone used any stop leak with good or bad results, cheers

I've never used stop leak just always kept a bottle of fluid on my car when the ford had it's leak.
£300 is a good figure for a rack replacement

I have same leak problem. seems to be coming out near drivers side. I asked my mechanic about the stop leak stuff and he said it was 'worth a try' . Think it may have slowed it down a bit but will need to get the root of the problem sorted as my other half it going off her nut about the state of her driveway
