Initial fault ABS fault
Removed and cleaned all ABS wheel sensors and surrounding areas

The one that tends to go most often, is the one between the engine / gearbox because they were never made long enough ....

Thanks for your replies folks.
Found a guy local to me with Planet Software and for the princely sum of £40 did a scan for me this morning. Nothing serious on live scan just ABS fault and a glitch on fuel potentionmeter.Wiped the codes then took it for a short run and all that came back was ABS fault.
Offside front and rear sensors suspect. Rear was installed upside down by the fool that cleaned the sensors (I wonder who that was).
Can't work out what the total power out was about, but will deal with that if and when it occurs again.
Unless of course the car bursts into flames. I may be an old fart, but I can still run like a greyhound when I need too!!!!
