Hi!
Does anyone have any ideas why my 206 GTi (137) beeps 8 times when I start her up every time? There are no warning lights flashing...
I have no problems at all driving.
Stumped.....

Could it be that the car thinks one of the doors is open, are the beeps in a three beep sequence?

That would be a 6 or 9 'beep sequence' then

Defo 8. Although this morning it didnt beep at me?!?!?!
It has only been doing this for 2 days.......
Some things I have done recently that may have upset the ECU:
Changed the front right door. 2 weeks ago.
Changed from 95 to 98 petrol. 4 days ago.
Changed both front seats (air bags?) All plugs are in and fine. 3 weeks ago.

The beeps aren't in groups, just one continuous group of 8 beeps. I will try and record it over the weekend.
