Hi, anyone changed the fuel tank strap, car in the air at the moment, with both nuts loose and ready to come off, i cannot seem to figure out why the tank has not dropped down whilst slackening nuts off.

Made sure the tank was nearly empty before i started.

Is it a simple case of taking the nuts off, and the tank stays in place, and new strap straight on.
Cheers

There's more than just the strap holding the tank up, I cant remember if it's 4 bolts including the 2 on the strap or 4 bolts + the 2 on the strap.

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

Cheers, for quick reply, just didn't want the tank crashing down, when taking nuts off.
