I have recently bought a 2004 Peugeot 206 S, I have just discovered the boot won't lock with the central locking or when locking with the key.
Any help greatly appreciated

It is probably the actuator in the hatchback. Take off the plastic cover for the back wiper from the inside and you can get to it. I think I paid 25 euro for the the new actuator.

Thanks, I will have a check for this and update the thread when I know something, my mother is taking the car for a week, so will check when she is back.

Ok quick and happy update, went out and pulled off that cover, to find one of the wires just dangling there with a plug at the end, plugged it back in and the problem was solved, thanks for the advice.
