Hi guys,
I have a 206 2006 Urban 1.4
Hoping you can provide some ideas that I could take to the garage, as it seems very much like trial and error at the moment.
I left my car for 4 days without driving it. I try to start it and it turns over but doesnt start. I have the breakdown people come out and they don't have a clue. They test the battery and say it's all good.
So for the last couple of days it's been at the garage. They say they have narrowed it down to a wiring/immobiliser issue. They say they will need to strip back the wiring to try and find something. If not they say they will have to send the BSI unit off for testing - which I'm told can be very expensive.
Any ideas which I can give to them, to try?
Thanks

Needs testing with Peugeot Planet.
Global scan will point to the direction of the fault.

See my recent post. It was just the crank sensor that needed replaced - worth checking this before you spend money on anything else

Also agree with Mr BSI that PP2000 does seem essential to get any diagnostics on these cars. Hopefully one day, proprietary French secret electronics will be disallowed and we can all read codes with standard diagnostics

Diagnostic multiple-car-maker scanners ranging from £500 to £5000 should be as good as PP2000
