If you have a lx the chances are you have h4 connectors. You need to make or buy h4-h7 connector adapters if you want crystals.
Not sure about the highline and lowline thing just make sure you get RHD ones that. I recommend Valeo as a branding for crystals as they are the OEM ones peugeot use.

For some reason people on ebay call phase 1 lowline and phase 2 highline Not sure what it means either but highline will be crystal lights.
On Georgie's 52 plate he had the H7 connectors fitted but taped up. Its worth a look because they may be there already.

lowline = base models (frosted)
hi-line = top models (crystals)
well thats how most people view it, as said make sure you get converters if yours dont have the h7 connector, as for the branding valeo is oem, but costs more than say depo :D

I had both the H4 and H7 connectors on my 52 as well but not all had them.

If you mean those n the page TimHDi linked - from the page:
"From the 2003 facelift the standard Peugeot 206 changed from H4 to H7 headlight bulbs within the same headlight chassis.
To use Ultra Headlights: PE07L24, PE07L24S & PE07L26S in facelift models you should use: APE07 HARNESS ADAPTER KIT to adapt the H4 headlight unit to the post facelift H7 wiring loom.
These Adapter Kits are designed for use with Ultra Brand headlights, they CANNOT be used to upgrade pre-facelift models from H4 to H7 bulbs."
Sounds to me like they're the other way round, adapting an H7 harness to their brand of lights originally made for H4 harness cars.
