Any ideas got a gti 180 but gearbox has started crunching when you put it into third gear only every other gear is ok all help welcome

Syncro ring warn, very common fail point on the BE4 box.

Would you want a full rebuild at the same time? Or just 3rd gear? New or used?

I would highly recommend Addaz, he rebuilt the gearbox on my race car last winter for a good price and quick turnaround. Nice guy and very knowledgable
