I have drained and refilled the coolant in my 206 GTi but I am pretty sure there is still air in the system. The question is, how the hell do I get it out?
Lots of places I look on the web mention a bleed screw on the radiator but I can't find one for the life of me! I know there is one on the thermostat housing and another on the pipe leading to the heater matrix but they are running without air. This is really frustrating me now!

I still think there is air in the pipe between the top of the radiator and the engine block. How the hell do I get it out?

It will either come out the thermostat housing bleed screw or it will go to the top of the radiator. If it goes to the radiator it will exit through the hose to the coolant reservoir.

Exactly. If they were rock solid you've got pressure and problems!
