Would the speedo/rev counter from a petrol work in a HDi. I.E is it a straight swap?

Steve.

Rev counter probably won't as the dial is different range (lower top revs)
Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.

It'll work.

I tried 180 clocks in my 2.0HDi SW. revs matched, etc.

FWIW: 2.0 HDI is also easy to get oil temp gauge working if you don't already have it.

Just need Peugeot Planet.

Thanks for the replies. Mine does not have the oil temp and this is why I was thinking of changing. Seem to be plenty of petrol ones about. Mine is a 2005 Sport, just come up to 74K. So I know about getting a lower mileage one to keep correct mileage. Mr BSI would I need to get anything else for the Oil Temp guage to work?

Should be just a BSI tweak with Planet for the 2.0 HDI.

There is only 1 oil probe listed for that engine which is a combined level & temp probe.
