So I scrapped my old 206, sold my bike and picked up a new 206, found the exact one I was looking for, a 1.4 16v sport with the black/red interior. It's a 55 plate with less than 100,000. Body works tidy for a 55, needed rear wiper painting (or removing) and a good waxing.
The day I picked it up:

What I've done so far:
•ultra twin projector black halos
•sp lower grill
•m3 style wing mirrors with indicators (gloss black)
•17" solid centre vortex alloys refurbed to gloss black with chrome badges and low profile tyres (getting fitted tomorrow)
•installed Sony xplod amp&12" sub with 0 gauge wire+ in line fuse
•red courtesy light
•red footwell lights
•tint all windows
•aux lead in Oem head unit
•Sony xplod amp in boot connected to;
•12" sub with carpeted box
Paint and fit spoiler
dip centre console, front badge and ashtray in carbon
flush mounted usb charging point and aux point connected to stereo
Debadged rear
Painted rear hubs gloss black

Repairs:
New door
2 new front wings
New grill

Repairs to do:
Fix drivers door latch(not recognising door open)
Fill dents on rear quarter
Re-seal or replace rear windscreen

Angel eyes in:

And wired up:

Wing mirrors on and wired:

To do still:
•fit 2400w amp under passenger seat
•install 600w comp speaker in each door
•sound deadening
•re-line roof and dash with black Alcantra
•fit puddle lights(red or white?)
•change all interior lights to red(dials, window controls, hud etc.) [/b]in progress[\b]
•fit cupra splitter
•fit front coil overs and drop rear torsion bar
•fit red, black and alloy aftermarket steering wheel

I'm sure there's more I've done and more I want to do but I'll update this as I remember and post more pictures when I can take them. Only got a few of what I've done but will take more tomorrow.

Got a better picture of the car today, still not put the sp lower grill or spoiler on, waiting for a dry day. Looking a bit tractory with the 17's on tho so next buys going to have to be a pair of coilovers!

Hi Jake and welcome!

Coming along nicely! I fancied M3 style mirrors, do indicators work? You could then blank them wings, would look smart!
Is asking for them to auto-fold too much? Smile

What are the plans performance wise, and will you bring her on track or a hill?;)

I've pimped your post photos a bit, mainly removing URL tags and linking straight to big photos (you'll see what I did there, hacked by first clicking on the link, and then dragging and dropping a photo on your browser bar - it then went straight to bigger images, circumventing those money mongers at imageshack.com Smile Best bet is photobucket Wink )

I'll leave your 2nd post photo as homework Wink
You can just copy paste my mods into your orig post by clicking "Quote". Here goes:

Thanks for doing the pictures mate appreciate it(y)

I thought about trying to alter the wing mirrors to auto-fold but not decided if I'm confident enough yet, think I'm going to try swap the glass for heated glass first, didn't realise they wernt till I fitted them Sad

Not even started on performance upgrades yet, would love to put a new lump in but not got the time or money at the minute, 306 v6 would be perfect!
Think I'm going to get all the styling done by summer then start on the power, probably a cat back stainless system first because I need a new backbox anyway, looks like a McDonald's straw arm, want a gti one or at least one with the same tailpipe:)
Definitely want to get her on the track tho, maybe summertime Wink

Got my red smd footwell lights in today

(fuse box cover was off because I had to swap one)

Little video:

ran them off my halos/drl's for now but still not sure wether to keep them there or have them on the courtesy light, will get some pictures up tonight when its darker. Going to put a strip in each door card ( in the storage bit) and one underneath the front lip of rear seats to light up rear footwells when I get some more time.

Got my sp lower grill in aswell finally

f

The next to do is fix my spoiler, new wings and door(one wing is primer black so cheaper to replace than paint, other is scratched and door is scratched+is off an older model so trim and handle not colour coded). will pick them up next week I think.

Finally managed to get some time on the car today, it was nice and dry so I threw a clear coat on the spoiler and got it on, tiger sealed it because I didn't want to drill the bodywork, no need to risk rust if I don't need to!

I partially de-badged the rear aswell, not sure wether I want the lion or not yet, probably get rid when I get the badge less front grill on?
Can still see the writing in certain lights but not cutting it in yet as I'm going to buff and wax the whole car soon.

I slapped an abarth spoiler on the misses 500 while I was at it aswell

FINALLY managed to get my gearknob off (took my biggest pair of grips and a lot of swearing) so I've got my red leather gaitor on now and temporarily got a red and black leather gearstick, can't decide if I like it better than my silver golf ball yet?

Like I said crap pictures but will get better up when I get time!
Next to do is replace door and front arches, badge less front grill, lower torsion bar and front on coilovers, buff whole car + new exhaust along with a bit of trimming and paintwork inside. If I get any time lol

Had an idea lastnight, need to extend my aux cable so going to get rid off my cigarette lighter, wire in a transformer to drop it down to 5v and have a flush mounted use and aux port there instead, ordered the bits so when they turn up I'll whack some pictures on. Anyone else done this?

Deciding what the next expensive thing should be aswell, exhaust or suspension? I'm thinking about dropping on coilovers and just getting a new backbox for now then get a full stainless system when the cash is there

Coming along very well! Reminds me of the first (and last) tiger sealed spoiler on mines, next time I'll know better to use less of that stuff, so at least it's not visible in the join and looks like the spoiler just grew there Smile Still thinking maybe i could shave it off around the gap and then just repaint it

I like this gear knob, and isn't VW having the dibs on the golf ball? Wink

Some really cool docks are hiding in this forum (hehe since iPod times Very Happy ) :

206info.co.uk/Forums/v...tml#308088
206info.co.uk/Forums/v...tml#162503

Good job on thinking to convert 12V->5V, I'm such a bad (non-)electrician that I keep thinking any voltage transformations still emit unnecessary heat (=waste) Smile

If you like more how it feels, and not how it looks/sounds (like me), go for proper suspension. Uprated torsion bars and maybe rear ARB as well can give you more toys to play with until you find that perfect balance between handling and comfort. I'm yet to wander into the world of 1-way vs 2-way adjustable coilovers, and will need to do proper read into this forum's archive; as it's always more challenging to make a tiny car sit on the road properly than just buying a heavier/wider/longer wheelbase machine Smile

it was a warm day so the tiger seal was nice and thin, Definitely prefer sticking than bolting, just because I don't like opening bodywork, bit of a fear of rust Shocked
Gear knobs grown on me, it was supposed to be the other way round but think it looks better facing the handbrake?
I'm struggling between looks and performance at the minute, I was using the car everyday so work on it was minimal but using the work van all the time now which means I can put a bit more into it, just can't decide what way to go. The little 1.4 engines leading me towards looks Embarassed

Managed to get my usb and aux point wired up today, stuck with my idea to replace the cigarette lighter and I'm pritty happy with it. Went a lot easier than I expected, took about 15 mins all in.
Anyway here's some pictures, let me know what you think:

Before:

During:

Some of the wiring(aux and usb point, 12v-5v transformer, 2xrca - 1x3.5mm jack)
Also got a connects 2 unit which plugs into the cd changer port on back of stereo, means I can have an aux lead on standard Peugeot head unit

After:

Thinking about spraying the cap red? Laughing

And yeah the car's filthy, been doing a few bits and using the van a lot more so not got round to cleaning it(getting it cleaned) Embarassed but I'm going to buff the whole car as soon as I get some time and weather Rolling Eyes
