Hello all,
I noticed this morning while driving in congestion a scraping sound from my front passenger side wheel.
The sound seems to be connected with the speed (when accelerating it goes faster, decelerating goes slower).
I have recently changed discs and pads on the car. The disc on the wheel works (is hot) and it brakes.
However the sound does not go away when lightly touching the brakes (which would rule out a pad stuck against the disc).
Anyone experienced this as well, or know where to have a look? Can jack the car up, remove wheel and post photos on Thursday if needed.

Rebuilt brake (took caliper off, cleaned it etc etc). Put back together.
Sound is gone, braking has improved. So guess something was not right, I suspect something to do with grease (or lack of) on guide pins.

Well you answered your question by yourself,if I read this earlier,I would suggest that you take the guide pins out,clean it very well,make sure it's rust free,if it's rusted you need to clean the rust if possible,if not replace it.
Then use Silicone Grease,and ONLY Silicone grease for the pins,and NEVER use petroleum base grease in areas that gets hot,like calipers do.
