Hi All,

My very first post here in large part because I'm in desperate need of help and I've been going at it myself for the past couple of days and I couldn't figure it out.

Basically, my 2004 206 Gti 180 is a clubman road rally car and when I was last removing the aftermarket steering wheel (no airbag), because i didnt leave the steering bolt in, when it came off the splines it ripped the three white 'squid' wires that come out of the stalks unit, post the rotary airbag connection.

Now the squid has only 3 wires, 2 airbag and 1 horn. Couldn't care less about the airbag ones - the car doesn't have any left.

I am less than 36h away from a road rally in Wales (I live in Essex) and I need that damn horn to pass scrutineering. So the idea is, I need to bypass the stalks/comm2000 unit and just short 2 wires through a switch which I can then fit onto the central dash panel somewhere.

Hence the million dollar question - Which wires that connect to the stalks/comm2000 unit are the horn switch wires?

I've had a look at the wiring diagrams but I might be a bit short of brainpower to process whats on them.

All and any help is much appreciated
