A job such as this requires taking the lining out of the roof. A massive job, and good luck getting it back on.
Really worth it??

I know what is waiting for me,that is why I'm gonna use a pro. to take the lining out for me,and for sure getting it back on,because this is not a DIY job at all
and i believe it worth it,because having something diff. in here (my city) gonna make my car stand out of the rest

NOT if your spoiler is for the cars with antena on the back, because there is 2 kinds of spoilers, one for the cars with front antena, and the second for cars with the one on the back,so that when you have the tailgate open, the spoiler stay away from the antena

If you're going to fit a 306 ariel , would you not need the specs for a 306 mounting hole , or are they the same?

I'm gonna fir a 307 antena,not a 306,so the 307 and 206 share the exact specs mounting hole

Dude, why dont u just do this, while your taking out your roof lining or whatever, buy an 'internal antenna,' ive read threads where people de-antennaed and did this. - You could basically hide the internal antenna from view, and then, tigerseal, or bodge a 'dummy' 307 antenna onto the position at the back...

the earlier model 206's (pre 2002) with the aerial at the back arent designed to have a spoiler so the aerial is mounted further to the back of the roof, hence why they catch the spoiler, but the cars after 2002 have the aerial mounted slightly further forward so that it doesnt catch the spoiler when the boot is opened
