So i disconnected the MAF for testing purposes drove it for like 15mins when i got back home i scanned the ecu with BlueDriver(bluetooth scanner) and it showed P0104(which is the maf) and P0113(Intake Air Temperature Sensor 1),is that sensor connected to the MAF?
Yep, it's incorporated in the MAF, no need for panic stations
So you're diagnosing limp wristed performance or is it in limp mode limited to 3k RPM? Did anything improve with MAF disconnected? Any other codes at all?
Our 1.4HDi did the limp mode trick when the last glow plug failed, to be honest they don't need them really anyway just for emissions or below about -10c & they snap off if you look at them wrong. If I was doing ours again now I'd have just fitted one new plug on a bracket so the ECU sees resistance, in the end I had the head off twice because of it lol
