As some of you may know, about a month ago I sold my 206 1.4 and bought myself a very nice 2000 306 2.0 HDi meridian. Been loving it ever since although i thought it sounded very rough but didn't think anything of it as I just thought it's because it's a 10 year old car. 2 days ago I pulled up in waitrose next to an almost identical 306 hdi that sounded a whole world difference and the driver was a nice chap and we had a conversation about our cars, his had done similar miles and sounded like a brand new engine. I took it to Peugeot stealership and they told me it was my injectors, and I would need to replace all 4 for £3620. This left me feeling gutted and wasn't sure what to do, a friend suggested that I should try a fuel additive. What could I lose, £20 at the most. So after a logn epriod of studying the back of bottles in halfords I chose "STP Diesel Complete Fuel Treatment" Added it to a full tank of diesel as instructed and within 30 miles I noticed the difference! It's phanominal, If I keep the revs under 2000rpm I cannot even hear that it's a diesel under the hood. I could even see all the crap coming out the exhaust when i floored it. Probaly the best £14.99 I ahve spent in a long long time! Really reccomended.

Here is a link to the product www.halfords.com/webap...yId_165750
