This time around though there has been a change to the driver and co pilot, This year the driver will be Gordon Macmillan (of Performance French Cars) with Mac bravely taking up the challenge of navigating him through the various stages. Why the change? Well in association with MSV Essex Motorsport and FCS there will be an article in PFC all about getting yourself into rallying, what you need how you go about it etc!
So what do we want from you? We need members to come down take photo's video's and to get involved, roll up your sleeves and help out in the pit's anything will be of help haveing been out with Mac a a couple of event's now I can tell you that there is much to do and you cannot help but get in there.
There is much to do on the day even with just spectating, there will be many marques out on the track from full blown WRC cars Darian's many mk1 mk2 classics there may even be the country's only Aston martin rally car there, and it sounds awesome nothing like a V12 passing you on full chat.
How do you get in to help out? just grab your self a ticket! the pit's are open to the public and you cannot miss Mac and the 206 (there are a couple of 206's but only one GT! )
Tickets available on the day, £13 a bargain for the day out at one of England's top tracks with pit access.
Entry list below
Just check out the line up!

So we rock up at about 09.00 on the 30/01/2011 (yep that’s Brands Hatch in January -1°C) Entrance is free and so is the parking all good so far, off to the service area to meet up with Mac and his Rally prepped 206 GT. Shook hands and helped out with last minute preparations for his 10.24 kick off nothing special really but this will be the first rally for the 206 (since official log booking) and for Mac who needs to get four under his belt to be able to progress to group A. Stages can be seen here:
After helping Mac and Jamie (co-driver) get themselves ready we set off to find a vantage to watch the first stage of the day, as we walk along to the stand we passed through the service area for the day’s events and a myriad of exotic cars, Mk1, Mk2 escort’s usual fare for rallying, rear wheel drive Mk1 fiesta’s little more exotic Works Suzuki Swift’s, Darian’s a Maxi 306 and a rare Aston Martin GT Rally..
The Days event’s had many spills 2005 Focus WRC car getting stuck in the kitty litter A Subaru Impreza running down some cones and a absolute tragedy when a Austin Mini cooper (1000cc) had an argument with a concrete block and inevitably lost
But For Mac and the crew the day turned out to be a good one, lot’s learnt about tyre choices, Lines gearing etc. A good day for a first time out though turning a 78th seed into a 49th finish overall, first time out!!
