Hi guys
I recently bought a new engine air filter but is quite smaller. Its 206mm vs. 246mm long of my original air filter. Dealer says that this smaller air filter should be compatible but...
You guys know if there are 2 sizes for the 180? Sounds really strange

What is your car VIN,I can get you the part number of the air filter that need to be fitted to your car.

i've checked on Servicebox, air filter OEM code is 1444 W3
the thing is: if you visit Mecafilter website:
www.mecafilter.com/cat...plications
here says its compatible with 206 RC (206 gti180), BUT:
1) if you click on details, you will see Dimension D1 is 208mm wich is too short (should be 246, checking other filter manufacturers)
2)if you click OE Part numbers, it appears PEUGEOT 1444H3. And on my servicebox, my OE number should be 1444 W3.
So, do you agree Mecafilter is wrong on that? Thanks

Well according to the OE number you have which is 1444.W3 the dimension is:
Height :70 mm
Length: 245 mm
Width:169 mm
So yeah Mecafilter is wrong,and also you can fit other replacement parts:
1444.W5
1444.W6
1444.CE
1444.CL
1444.TZ
