Ahh right i take that back in that case, about the exhaust cut out Laughing will look really good when done though Smile

£600 to smooth side strips out?? Surly if you did all the prep work though, it would be cheaper as would only really need to re spray etc. Yeah it would look pretty awsome, nice to have a bit of power behind it aswell though Smile but nah i am impressed, one of best colours to do it with aswell Wink

4th 206 but finally a 180

Yeah, £600 :l

Next time you're with your 206, have a close look, where the side strips are the body work slightly flares out! Therefore would have to be 'cut down' etc, and would be very hard to make perfect and smooth again.

Not saying it can't be done. Anything can be done for the right money Wink

Only just spotted this project!

First off, nice to see someone with flared rear arches, although I'm afraid I'll have to agree with 206T16, it looks a bit untidy where the rear panel meets the bumper, the bumper needs to come out more to meet the line of the arch. I know it's probably a hard thing to get right, but Coopz' old car was perfect in that respect so it can obviously be achieved.

Not keen on the smoothed boot, purely for the fact that you now have nowhere for the plate to go and anywhere you stick it now will look untidy and spoil the look a bit. I'd be inclined to stick it in the rear window though, it'll look better, but it'll also attract more police attention I guess!

The wheels and stretch look cool, shame to see you're selling the 15x8's though Sad , I'm guessing this is purely down to the brakes being big and therefore needing the wheels spaced out?

I'd probably go for some standard crystal headlights over the Morettes, or tinted crystals, as I think they'd work better with the whole smoothed look.

Just my opinion. Smile

I did have the rear plate in the window for a litte while. I might get a square 'motorbike' plate in the rear window, I've seen that on smooth rears before, and I think it looks pretty good.

And yeah yeah 8" wheels have to go, purely because of the spacers I'm using, make them far too wide

Could anyone tell me, what the rim size is of the deep dish one's that he has?! Looking for a wide one 8j or probably 9j, 16", just cant find the perfect offset size "ET= ???" don't want to use spacers if I can survive without them.
Could someone advise?! Thanks ppl. Smile

I'll let the pictures do the talking

All comments welcome.

FYI, yes I shall be getting banded front wheels, and make the other little things perfect over time. But at least she's on the road now Very Happy

Come here - it looks like you've got steel alloys welded?! I know that they do weld alloys for a requested size etc, just can't find anyone who does them.
