I've spent another stupid amount today. I'm gonna regret this soon
Items:
£ 68 PolyBushes to Wishbones
£ 15 PolyBush to Dogbone Engine Mount
£165 Vibratechnics Gearbox Mount
£141 Vibratechnics Engine Mount
£389 Total with Free Delivery
Plus a 28mm Rear Adjustable Neuspeed Anti Roll Bar for my LCR £220(ish? I can't remember), and one for a good friends Mk2 Cupra £210 (Ish? I can't recall)
Just got to sit and wait for the bits to arrive now. Oh... Also I'll be sorting a rear Strut brace this weekend too

Very highly mate. I went B Road Blasting through the Lake District at the weekend and it held me to the seat just as well as a harness would, it clamps around your lap and stops lateral and vertical movement so when we managed to get air I was still in control when we landed without being thrown around. Ace piece of kit for the money (I didn't pay full price for it either )

Ape I'd be interested in a CG lock too if you can get them cheaper than RRP?
How much was your oil catch can out of interest?

Too much money?! You're kidding right?
My catchcan was £30 delivered, I then had to buy some hosing to plumb it in. The can has a mark or two on it but I'm going to try and polish it out at the weekend.
I can't get discount on the CG Lock, they're on a Buy It Now on eBay most of the time, but they also put them up for auction now and again so keep your eye out and get a bargain.
The engine mounts are to sort out the mental amount of engine movement that occurs under load. The engine moves a good few inches and I get a fair bit of wheel hop. By stiffening the mounts the wasted power used in turning the engine on it's mounts will be put back into turning the wheels more like it should in the first place. I'll get more vibration in the cabin I think, but I'm not fussed with that. The vibratechnics mounts are about the best around too.
I've got another £1300 or so to go before I get to where I want to be. Loads of people go on about stage 2 being th exhaust, remap and fmic but they often overlook the handling side of things, I don't want to have all the extra power and not apply it to the bends!

Like the look of the two strap, looking forward to an update on that. You really do mean business with this car, seems like every little bit of the car is being sorted!
The fridge - You have an alcoholics fridge, a man's fridge has meat too! lol

The Pug was a draft run of what I wanted to do with a car. It just wasn't powerful enough to be anything really good. This one is a better base platform to work from. I'm sorting the handling first, but doing it properly. Most people settle for a set of springs and shocks, but they only give a miniscule improvement. If you replace everything, bushes, ARB's, links etc then it compliments the whole set up. I'll be fitting the power modifications next, and will then get the alignment changed from fast road to track orientated, and then get it corner weighted too to maximise the work done.
After that's done, further weight loss, a cage and polycarb windows will be on the cards
There is meat! Behind the Alchohol! Camping this weekend with the lads, will be a laugh!
