Ouragan (16" standard fit on 206 GTi/CC) are 16" Nimrods (called Nimrod as accessories, rather than standard-fit)

Only difference is the name.

ps: Ouragan is French for 'Hurricane'

So does that mean 1999 cars with the SP Kit as an option (inc the 16" wheels) all had Nimrods fitted as standard equipment was the 15" wheels?

The only info I can find is that the Sports Pack (SP) was available from August 2000 onwards, when the 16" Nimrods were standard on the GTi.
You could buy 16" Nimrods from the parts department from 1999 (as they were fitted to the GT).

SP kit existed prior to that as some early GTis had Nimrods on too that would have otherwise have been fitted with 15" wheels.

SP pack didn't include alloys though. Only available on the Dturbo & GTi the SP pack consisted of wheelarch extensions, rear spoiler, SP badge & chromed grille, SP mats & boot tray.
Sports accesssories included Nimrods, Morettes, Janspeed exhaust back box, and GT bumpers.
Nimrods were accessories from 1999, when the GT & GTi were introduced.
