I have a 1.4 8v and I was wonder if a 1.6 8v cylinder head would fit straight on and make the engine a 1.6

Ok cheers so it looks like a new engine then. How is it you can get a 1.4 corsa same insurance group with 90 bhp and the peugeot 1.6 90 bhp is a higher insurance group ?

Cheaper parts maybe. Less likely to get stolen cause it's a Corsa. Performance isn't the only consideration.

An example of a consideration outwith engine size or performance is the pre-facelift MG ZR and the post facelift one. The post facelift one has a newer, better security system of some kind, and is 2 insurance groups lower as a result.
