I bought a strut brace as a part of a group buy some time ago, it's that long ago it might have been years ago!
I've only just got round to getting it fitted, to be told that it doesn't actually appear to be for my car! 
Can't find out where these things were from to see if I can get it swapped for the right one.... anyone got any ideas?

Can't help at all I'm afraid, don't recall anything on the old site (mind I wouldn't have paid much attention TBH). Saying that if it's that long ago I doubt you'd have much joy in an exchange anyway

I've got to look at it myself, but the way it was described is that the two arms either side don't have a correct radius for the strut mounts - so it's impossible to line up the mounting holes to put the bolts through.

If you found out what model it is for, you could sell it on here or ebay and use the money to buy the right one for you, just an idea because after all that time the company may not swap it

That's certainly the alternative I had in mind. Finding the company appears to be the problem 
I can't check CC statements because I was paperless, and the account no longer exists and the forum crash means no trace of the original threads. I'm just hoping to jog someone's memory so we can start on the right trail...
