I think i know the answer but i need a new coil pack but am unsure if i'm best getting a new one or 2nd hand?

Would there be a problem with a 2nd hand? how common is the coil pack a problem?

2nd Hand £25
New £72.79 Sad

i'm just thinking i could replace a dodge 2nd hand one 3 times before i would have been better off buying new? and the chances of 3 2nd hand coil packs being dodgy is slim?

Wahoo!

if your 100% you have a faulty coilpack (asuming you do) buy new, if only 50/50 get 2nd hand. just my opinion.

What's the problem you're fixing? Was the engine management light displaying?

Where is it 79.99 :/? I paid £110 from peugeot. And goodluck finding a 2nd hand one with the correct engine. May be more trouble that it's worth unless you have one lined up.

I say go new, youll only get a used one from a car thats been scrapped? probabilty of that failing could be higher than usual? Like above, about £70odd from eurocarparts, not too bad for a brand new one.
